YOUR SOZO
What Can I Expect?
“ Instead of your shame you shall have double honour, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in
their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs “
Your Personal SOZO
The Sozo Team will sit down with you and with the help of the Holy Spirit
walk you through a process of freedom and wholeness. We allow 90
minutes for your Sozo session.
Sozo is not counselling. In your Sozo session, lies and wounds will be
revealed in a safe environment, and replaced by God with truth and healing.
Sozo ministry addresses the ongoing need to realign your beliefs with the
truth pertaining to the persons of “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” in
relationship to you.
By using the Sozo tools and following the direction of the Holy Spirit, wounds
are healed, strongholds broken, truth is revealed, and repentance and
closure for past sin made possible.
Because of the way we work in focusing on God and undoing the root of
strongholds, we have little to no focus on the demonic (though we're dealing
with it all the time), and do not tend to have manifestations. For the same
reasons the freedom gained in a Sozo session tends to stick. What God says
to you will be written down so you can go out with that.
It is normal for people to come into a Sozo session slightly nervous, not
seeing or hearing God. It is normal for people to leave a Sozo session
wondering why they were anxious, and seeing & hearing God clearly!
Forgiveness
During your upcoming Sozo session, it is very important that you prepare
your heart to forgive those who have wronged you. Most people do not
understand what forgiveness is, and they have a hard time forgiving those
who have deeply wounded and hurt them. They will say: “well, it wasn’t fair”
… “it was not right” or say “how can I forgive, they do not deserve it”. If these
responses sound familiar and express how you feel, you should know that:
•
Forgiveness does not mean that what they did to you was right
•
Forgiveness does not mean that they “get off free”
•
Forgiveness does not mean you give up all your rights
Unforgiveness:
•
Does not hurt the one who harmed you
•
It hurts only you
•
Binds you in a prison of torment
•
Often causes you to have bitterness, hatred and anger
•
Blocks the fullness of God in your life
Extending forgiveness does the following wonderful things:
•
You get to step out of the way and let God have direct line to that
person
•
It means you are relieved of the burden you have been carrying
•
It frees you from a prison of torment
•
It closes a door which allows the enemy to have access to you
•
It allows you to say:
“I choose to give grace”
“I choose to let this person go into God’s hands”
“I am not going to be their judge”
When asked by people after the session what I thought about my Sozo, my answer was immediately “I feel like I
have now put things to bed, I had finally found closure to so many spiritual struggles. I am now aware that I am in
control of the issues they are no longer in control of me.”
